Public Workshop #1
A community kickoff meeting is planned for Wednesday, June 9th from 6 to 8pm. All members of the Medford community are invited to attend. You can register for the meeting, which will be held via Zoom, here: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJ0tdeCqrz8uGdHR55JJcJBDiMqx3I0vEkof
The first community workshop will be a fun & entertaining virtual community event that creates a digital venue for celebration and to introduce the planning process. The event will be structured around a presentation broken up into three sections to introduce the scope and purpose of the comprehensive plan, introduce the team, and present initial findings from early analysis. Between each short presentation there will be a 25 minute brainstorming and input session for community members to provide thoughts, ideas, and input to help us get the plan started in the right direction.

Steering Committee Meeting #1
On May 19, the consultant team will meet virtually with the 28-member Steering Committee to kick off the Comprehensive Plan.
The team will present an introduction to what a comprehensive plan is and what it means for Medford. They’ll give an overview of the plan elements: land use; housing; economic development; history, arts, & cultures; open space & recreation; public services; and mobility.
The steering committee and consultant team will get to know each other and find out what excites them about the plan. They’ll workshop: what are Medford’s strengths? What are you most excited about for the future? And what are your biggest concerns?
